Avenga is looking for an experienced Lead Golang Engineer to join our American project. The client operates in the area of weather forecasting. They provide scalable insights and solutions that effectively utilize temperature information while emphasizing privacy.
As a Lead Golang Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications. You will also lead a team of talented engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our business requirements and technical standards.
What you bring along:
- 5+ years of experience with Golang and 1+ years in Lead role;
- Knowledge of modern frameworks, Design Patterns, SOLID principles;
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL and messaging systems like Kafka;
- Proficient in AWS Services (EKS, ECR, ALB, VPC, Cloudwatch);
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions;
- Skilled in APIs development (REST);
- Competent in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm;
- Experience with ELK, DataDog, Prometheus & Grafana;
- Solid understanding of high availability SaaS applications having an expected 24×7 uptime;
- English – Upper-intermediate or higher.
Nice to have:
- Experience with ArgoCD.
This is your mission:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers;
- Contribute to design, implementation and documentation of the entire technical stack;
- Work closely with the Product and Business teams to define and understand end-user requirements;
- Keep technical stack up-to-date with industry standards and technology developments;
- Set best practices to ensure code quality, reusability and maintenance in the long run;
- Take a part in the development of a world-class product and company;
- Be ready to deconstruct complex problems to use appropriate technologies to meet requirements.
