Avenga announces David Zimmerman as New VP of Business Development, Americas

[Cologne, Germany, 02.10.2025] – Avenga, a global IT consulting and engineering firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Zimmerman as the new Vice President of Business Development for the Americas. Based in Wisconsin, USA, David will play a crucial role in driving the growth in the Americas, specifically focusing on the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

David brings over 30 years of experience in the IT and Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) industry, with more than half of that time spent in the MedTech sector. Before joining Avenga, David served as Associate Vice President and Client Engagement Manager at GlobalLogic, where he successfully managed several large MedTech, Pharma, and HealthTech projects.

In addition to his extensive professional background, David has a distinguished military career. In 2014, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 30 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Army Reserve.

David’s leadership and deep expertise in the tech industry will be instrumental in strengthening Avenga’s position in the Americas and accelerating its impact in the healthcare and life sciences sector.
