We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team and contribute to impactful projects for a major bank focusing on the Argentine market. This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with needed visits to the client’s office in Buenos Aires from time to time.
As part of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance solutions in a collaborative and agile environment.
What you bring along:
- 5+ years of experience developing web applications using Node.js;
- Strong proficiency with Nest.js;
- Confidence in using TypeScript and JavaScript;
- Knowledge of software design and architecture;
- Understanding and application of design patterns (e.g. MVC, Singleton, Strategy);
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL (Ex: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
- Knowledge of OpenShift or similar container platforms;
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins;
- English — Upper-Intermediate.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge or experience with Kibana, AppDynamics or other monitoring tools;
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable architectures;
- Familiarity with the Scrum methodology or previous experience working under this framework.
This is your mission:
- Write clean, maintainable, test-covered code and work with our product team;
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and consistency across the codebase;
- Be involved in the entire product lifecycle including the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features;
- Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team;
- Contribute to the team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
