Senior Java Engineer

What you bring along:

• 5+ years of experience building large-scale, low-latency distributed systems;
• Strong expertise in Java (8 – 17) and Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch);
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques;
• Experience with event-driven architectures, MQ, REST APIs, and asynchronous processes;
• Familiarity with design patterns (MVC, Clean Code, Hexagonal) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and version control (GIT/GITLab);
• Spanish – Mandatory;
• English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Node.js and microservices backend architecture;
• Knowledge of Big Data and cloud services (e.g., AWS).

• Work alongside a highly skilled engineering team to design, develop, and maintain critical components of the credit card platform based on Java technology;
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software in a timely fashion;
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Partner with cross-functional teams to contribute to large-scale strategic projects and solve complex operational problems;
• Autonomously make solution design decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives;
• Proactively identify system gaps and propose robust solutions to address them;
• Drive meaningful business impact by analyzing problems through an operational and technical lens.
