Avenga is looking for an experienced .NET Engineer for our American project. Our customer is an online enterprise-grade food ordering platform used by many of the US’s largest restaurant chains and millions of users. It integrates with the brands’ existing systems, opening new digital revenue streams that are effortlessly injected into the restaurant’s operations.
As a Senior .NET engineer, you will design and architect robust and scalable .NET-based systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
Our tech stack is centered around .NET (C#), React, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, all operating within AWS infrastructure. We also utilize modern software engineering tools, including GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, Kubernetes, Datadog, and Sumo Logic.
What you bring along:
- 5+ years of commercial experience with .NET (C#);
- Experience with .NET Framework 4.8 (ASP.NET MVC), .NET 6/.NET 8;
- Practical expertise in React;
- Familiarity with APILayer;
- Skilled in integrating with third-party APIs;
- Proficiency in MSSQL, PostgreSQL (or similar relational database tooling);
- Experience in production monitoring, logging, and observability;
- Ability to work on a shifted schedule approximately until 9 p.m.;
- English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Kafka (or similar event streaming tooling);
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar containerization frameworks;
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (or similar cloud-based technology platforms).
This is your mission:
- Developing new features and maintaining existing functionality;
- Write clean, maintainable, test-covered code and work with our product team to create great products for our customers;
- Collaborate with our product and design team to understand the needs of our customers that will shape the technology solutions;
- Share knowledge with their team related to system architecture and design through thorough documentation and training;
- Observe system performance in our domain, identifying problems and leading the team to resolve issues quickly;
- Demonstrate broad and deep knowledge of software engineering concepts.
