Avenga is looking for a Senior NodeJS Engineer to contribute to our current project in the field of entertainment. The project is a Spanish fintech platform offering innovative payment solutions. It enables businesses to optimize transactions and provides customers with a secure, seamless payment experience.

As a Senior NodeJS Engineer you will take part in delivering cutting-edge, high-quality solutions to solve business problems.

Technology stack: NodeJS, Javascript, Typescript, AWS,

What you bring along:

  • At least 5 years of solid knowledge of NodeJS, Javascript, and Typescript;
  • 5 years of experience in Software Testing;
  • Knowledge of different Databases;
  • Experience in AWS Services;
  • More than 3 years of experience in serverless solutions with Desirable knowledge in Cloudformation, SAM, or Serverless Framework;
  • Experience in SCRUM, KANBAN work frameworks;
  • Familiar with the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Terminal/Command Line, Postman, Virtualbox, Git, and GitLab;
  • English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in communication with an international team.

  • Design and implement reusable and maintainable software components;
  • Evolve the architecture, and propose improvements that ensure stability and resilience in each project;
  • Offer solutions that support incorporating future functionalities;
  • Uphold best practices in every code review;
  • Work as a team, and coordinate tasks with different colleagues to achieve the proposed objectives;
  • Support and help colleagues, and share knowledge and ideas that can make others grow.
